Pioneers Festival 2012

At the end of October, the first Pioneers Festival took place at Vienna’s Hofburg Palace. There were 2,500 international guests in attendance – to network, train, present ideas, learn from each other, discuss, meet mentors or investors. It was a coming-together of the start-up elite; energy, excitement, ideas, visions. Attendees included Adam Cheyer, Apple iPhone Director of Engineering and inventor of Siri, Wordpress founder Matt Mullenweg and Chamber of Commerce President Brigitte Jank. What this small team achieved, full of enthusiasm and ambition, was unbelievable.

Just less than one year ago we assisted at the launch, being responsible for the logo and the design concept for the festival performance.

Thomas, art director of the project, explains the idea: “The Futuristic Retro design concept focuses on a powerful logo and playful custom lettered headlines. The visionary stellar map background follows the networking aspect that leads the festival idea. These elements give Pioneers a unique look.”

The design team of the Pioneers picked up our groundwork and played wildly with it.

Actually we were a bit proud to discover our logo and design concept used in so many variations and mediums!
